Sales & Exhibitions
Call for Artists, Craftspeople, & Local Makers
Our new location at 126 Mulberry Street NW in Lenoir will feature a large, upscale retail storefront that will showcase this region's creative talents. Drawing from a variety of makers in Caldwell and surrounding counties, our goal is for this gallery shop to become a destination for those looking for a gift, the perfect piece of art for their home, or The Coffee Mug.
We are currently looking for those who are interested in selling year round* at Caldwell Arts in categories such as:
- pottery
- textiles and fibers
- jewelry
- stained, fused, and blown glass
- sculpture
- woodworking including furniture
- metals and forged work
- nonperishable food products including honey and canned goods
- pet treats and handmade accessories
During the transition into our new location, traditional gallery exhibitions are suspended. However, there are other opportunities for visual artists to show and sell including through our retail space and at off-site locations that are in development.
To be considered by the jury committee for retail or off-site opportunities, please email us your contact information, along with at least 3 images of your work with descriptions and retail prices. Artists should remember that the Caldwell Arts Council will retain 30% commission for all sales, so please price work accordingly. After review, you will receive an emailed notification, and if accepted, complete information will be included.
*Sellers will be asked to rotate inventory at least twice a year by our sales staff.
Stay in Touch.
